Restoring Homes Back
Into Holy Ground
Altarah Foundation, Inc. teaches, disciples and equips families to build a daily altar of prayer in their home, and places family altars in homes and churches that could never afford one on their own.
“He will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers.”Malachi 4:6
The return of the ancient family altar.
From Abraham to Joshua, the people of God marked their homes and their journeys with altars: places where a family met with God, remembered what He had done, and passed their faith to the next generation.
Today many homes have lost that place. Altarah Foundation exists to restore it. Through biblical teaching, discipleship and practical tools, we help mothers, fathers and children build a daily rhythm of prayer and the Word, so that every home becomes a sanctuary.

No family left without an altar.
Some of the families who need it most cannot afford a family altar. The Foundation works through local pastors to place altars, along with simple discipleship tools, in homes that would otherwise go without.
- 1
A pastor nominates a family
Churches tell us about families in their congregation who are ready to build a daily altar of prayer.
- 2
Partners make it possible
Gifts from churches, marketplace leaders and friends of the ministry cover the altar and resources.
- 3
The altar is presented in church
The pastor consecrates the altar and places it in the family’s hands, with teaching to begin the first night at home.
